It was Thursday morning – 4am – with clear skies and a bright moon.  The sun was still sleeping but we were awake and ready.  It was time to hit the road – north into Maryland, rainy Pennsylvania, then west through Ohio and Indiana, until we finally arrived.  We drove 12 hours and crossed 1 time zone to West Chicago and a quick visit with good friends.  🙂
